Greetings! (My first post)

Welcome,
This be my blog. :D
So...this is gonna be kinda weird, writing stuff and having...other people..read it. The only time someone reads something I wrote is if it's a school paper. o_o At anyrate, I should get down to the business of telling you about myself. I live in a crappy port town in a crappy state. I really wish I lived somewhere more...interesting. I'm learning Latin! Yes, I want to learn the 'dead' language. And I wanna learn Japanese. Then German, Italian maybe Korean. XD
I'm REALLY into gaming. And I owe it all to my brother. If it weren't for him playing RO, and then me sneeking onto the server he was on, I don't know if I'd be here today shooting Tomahawks or exploring the New World, Granado Espada, with you. :3 So, the games I play on my beloved, although crappy, compy, are: Albatross18 and Sword of the New World. <-- data-blogger-escaped-a="a" data-blogger-escaped-but="but" data-blogger-escaped-don="don" data-blogger-escaped-games="games" data-blogger-escaped-granado="granado" data-blogger-escaped-i="i" data-blogger-escaped-lame="lame" data-blogger-escaped-let="let" data-blogger-escaped-list="list" data-blogger-escaped-make="make" data-blogger-escaped-me="me" data-blogger-escaped-name.="name." data-blogger-escaped-of="of" data-blogger-escaped-really="really" data-blogger-escaped-said="said" data-blogger-escaped-t="t" data-blogger-escaped-that.="that." data-blogger-escaped-the="the" data-blogger-escaped-think="think">:D
Halo Series - I loveeeeeeeeeeee this! The storyline and weapons are some of the most awesome I've seen. Props to Eric Nylund for writing awesome books.
Half Life Series - Is really cool. I WANT EPISODE THREE. ;_;
Portal - The Cake isn't a lie. It does exist.
Audiosurf - Awesome game on Steam where you can ride your music! It creates a track out of the song and lets you ride on it. :D

Okay, I've got games covered. Onto books!

The Chronoclies of Amber, by Roger Zelazny. I read it like a year ago, but to this day I love it.
(PSST IDE DID YOU BUY IT YET?!)
The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, by Sir Arthur Connan Doyle. Woohoo! I love this series! He is sooo clever. :D
Halo Books by Eric Nylund were already mentioned, but I'm gonna mention them again cause they're awesome!
George Alfred Henty, is one of my favorite writers. Yesterday I finished reading his Beric The Briton, about the Roman invasion of Britain. He writes historical fiction which I quite enjoy(but then I enjoy fiction. period.)
I shall keep you updated on the books I'm reading!

Now for movies. Maybe this is going to take too long. But...I don't care!

Ironman
The Spirit
The Lord of The Rings Triology
Star Wars Saga
Spaceballs
Pirates of The Carribean Triology
The Hitchhiker's Guide to The Galaxy
Transformers (Did you know Prime was voiced by the same guy who voiced Eeyore?)
The Incredible Hulk(the recent 2008 remake)

As you can see, I <3 data-blogger-escaped-book="book" data-blogger-escaped-br="br" data-blogger-escaped-comic="comic" data-blogger-escaped-movies.="movies." data-blogger-escaped-now="now" data-blogger-escaped-shows="shows" data-blogger-escaped-to="to" data-blogger-escaped-tv="tv">NCIS

  1. Ooh, if you like comic book movies, you should read comic books! I'm full of recommendations. Neil Gaiman's Sandman is the best thing ever. Also Watchmen, and almost anything else by Alan Moore. Anyway, congrats on starting your blog, and I look forward to reading your thoughts (heheheh...).

  2. ^ Alan Moore is awesum. 'nuff said.

Welcome. And no, I haven't bought it yet, I have about 7 books I'm reading all at once. But I'll get around to it without a doubt. Did you know the TV show House M.D.'s House is based off of Sherlock Holmes? :) Holmes -> homes -> House. And he lives at the same address that Holmes did and House is addicted to Vicodin while Holmes was addicted to cocaine. just a little tidbit for a fellow Sherlock Holmes fan ;o
