Granado-wise, I am bored out of my fucking mind. I might go to Secret Tower to see if I can kill General Guard for Oswaltz, but...otherwise there is nothing to do. I hope the word change lets me buy a few more things, though.

Vindictus-wise, I have forgotten my security code..i'm not overly concerned at the moment, but it looks like if I can't remember, I'll have to try sending a ticket. 8luh. Nexon christmas event has received condemnation on their forums and tumblr alike. I'm disappointed the new santa outfits aren't tradeable, but otherwise I really don't much care.

So then, little update time.

I finally ended up making a pixiv account, and I'm so happy I did. SO MUCH GE AND VINDICTUS AND GENERALLY AWESOME ART TO FIEND OVER.

Got Meythea(Asoka) to 100 today! And now she's Expert, levelin' Sect of Moonlight. Woop woop. Helena joined her to level Augury since my recent const-boxing netted me FOUR MORE bloody Pisces.

I will be so rich once Unlimited Shots come. I can smell it.

I also purchased Jaspard's Rifling Revolver and an Iceberg Bangle from the Token Shop. Waiting on a word change to see if I can get anything else...here's hoping I can net another weapon; leaning towards a Dual Structure Dagger. If less, I might get ICP. :>

I might draw up a list later of all the things I got out of the event, but...probably should wait on that, it's not over yet. lol

Also got around to making a christmas theme on my desktop, and have been sending out cards(largely to some GE friends). Who knows if this will be a tradition, I just liked the art on the cards. e_e

GE wise, the alphabet event is tapering off, although boxes are still apparently dropping, if very slowly for me. I've only gotten the Punisher manual and the Black Dragon pet from the token shop...still trying to make up my mind between Jaspard's Rifling Revolver, two Iceberg Bangles, and Asoka and ICP.  D:

Wish I would have known about it from the start. Oh, well.

I have to say, I wish the other angel/dragon weapons would drop. :( I kind of want to expert my Vincent, but there's no lute for him. I'm stuck with having to make an Elite Trump.

Started off farming in El Ruina, and then Skele AA, with a few tries at Torsche FA. Finally wound up going to Fire Isle because wewt, chips. But...effing botters. They aggravate me to no end. And some of them, honestly, look like legit players just botting. You know, a non-jibberish name and unusual character combos and in a clan.

I hope they are purged with the fires of the transfer.

I also need to work on my sword christmas carol. Eeep.

Figured I'd throw my thoughts on blogger, derpaderp.

Let me say, I don't have a vendetta against G1 like some players seem to have. And I was here for the Dark Ages of 2.9a and b. I think I'll miss them. They've had some enjoyable characters over the years.

I might even lurk on their forums a bit, haha.

So then, T3Fun. I'm anxious for more information to become available, and want all kinds of questions answered that won't be until a few months from now. I've gone through a few account transfers in my day, so this isn't something totally new.

I'm VERY happy things will be transferring. If my family were to be wiped I don't know if I could bring myself to play the game all over again.

It'll be AHMAZING to play with everybody. I fully welcome the impending chaos from top clans sparring and the whining and pking that will result. Not so keen on the likely baron server it will be, and how bad space will be for farming/afk leveling, but I guess I gotta wait and see.

Moving on, I'm five tokens away from Punisher. Despite my doom and gloom attitude last entry, turns out I was wrong and I will get something out of this event, haha. I also mastered Frequency, Cadenza...experted Max, Kal, and my robo-caths. I'll probably card up Raven and Grace to master, and some other people to expert.

Promo scrolls are another horrifying thing all together though. I wish they were in the feso shop lulz.

So, Vindictus-wise I burned myself out on it, leveling up my Kai. Someday I'll catch them up on the storyline, sigh.

I usually kept up on GE news since I'm subscribed to a few people-in-the-know, and prowl the forums. However, I forgot about the forums for some of September and October, and thus I was late on the Alphabet/Veronif events.

Let's just say I'm kind of sad about that, considering I don't think I'll be able to get anything I want from the token shop.(Like Asoka, Punisher or the weapons. I could get the dragon pet for instance, but I've never really cared about him) G1 needs to fix things, but that's all been said on the forums already.

Um.

I've gotten a few vet/expert levels from afk farming, and I'll probably Master my Lisa with the cards(she's exp7 anyway). Then Cath Torsche, then I don't know. There are a few candidates. Also debating cashing some earth stones and buying more vet scrolls.

Due to the event I got Grace a high-atk Dragon Fury Shotgun, so that was nice, even if it's not the best. Also did circus tonight with Bellza and her friend. Due to Vero and Cruz handing out princ pots like its air molecules, I decided to utilize them there.

Of course, the drops were mere chips and roughs. Gosh, the economy has really tanked. It's hard to sell anything but chips/boosters/rings once in awhile. :( It really hurts since I want to take advantage of cheaper Angel/Dragon weapons but can't make much more than 8m or so a night in my current afk area.

I'm also curious about the possibility of a halloween event. I don't mind if we don't have one, but I'd be quite happy if we had last year's. Flood of expert rings? Yes plz.

--And a shoutout to Ferra, congrats on all your token shop items! Boy. It's a wonder the old man is still there, you're cleaning him out. haha.

Greetings, internet ghost, few followers and passer-bys.

I have really disconnected from Sword. Haven't gotten on in over a month. It barely registers in my mind these days, though I still lurk the forums. Perhaps when the Mythical Update(ala Morrighan or Jesus returning) arrives, I will play again.
Yeah, I could grind, collect items. I've ground a bunch. I've collected some stuff. If I pay the price with more icky farming later or doling out money, so be it. I don't really care any more.

Vindictus serves as my main game these days, but I'm not really hardcoring it up. I have sadly lost interest in leveling my Kai for now. Someday, he'll catch up. Someday. ;_;

I am released from school.

It feels weird. But awesome.

I would almost consider dancing around in September just to mock the kids going back. Alas, this town is not even worth my derpy humor and light hearted mockery.

During June and May my writing teetered dangerously low, but I am slowly picking it up here and there. I have some more characters in the works, the poor souls. They don't know what they're in for.

My plans are loosely these: learn to drive at some point and snag a license. Write more. Draw more. Figure out a fucking schedule and actually stick to it because structure seems to help me. Bake more. Because baking is wonderful. Bake things in secret, too. Tricky, but might be do-able. I'm spieling out nonsense now.

Time to call it quits.

Well it makes about a month now that MSN has broke for me. Still unsure what to do, if I will download the original client or what.

The long awaited archer, Kai, is coming to Vindictus in a matter of hours. Been looking forward to him, because I miss long range. Evie is the only other character there that has range, and it is pitiful. Think musks with pistols, but a little less.

Using Flintlock spoiled me, I think.

I guess that's it.

Hello Blogspot, It's Been Awhile

A fair while.

Mostly stuck to tumblr for my ramblings and stuff. Figured I might as well post here again. May was an interesting month in that I panicked a lot about the future. :D That and I read a bunch of Amber, I'm slowly tiptoeing through the last book.

June ushers in a new era for me, Skreta, and the Almontri family.

Why?

BECAUSE I AM TYPING THIS ON EPSILON.

MY NEW COMPUTER.

awwwyeeeaaa. With buckets of help from my brother, for selecting some good hardware, and then him helping me put it together yesterday, its been a bit crazy and stressful of an ordeal. But it will pay off, I can feel it.

Epsilon is by no means an amazing computer, but it is to me. I would say its a pretty good computer, in comparison to what the latest available things are. For instance, the CPU is a mere dual core. I've used an old one for so long, and the bones of it were even older. Oscar was a composite of random pieces patched in over the years to cover for failures, and something of a study in old tech, and a reminder in how fast the computer industry changes.

It was amazing to see a modern BIOS menu, I'll tell you that. Eventually I'll upload some pictures I took of the various boxes, the putting-together, and the final result. But for now, I still have some issues to sort out-installing, remembering some old passwords, things like that.

Despite all my angst, worries and annoyances I had against Oscar, it was a nice, loyal machine in the end. I'll always remember it, the first computer I had. The computer I grew up with.

Epsilon will be the second computer I have, one that is truly mine. One that will fare with me through the strange territory known as adulthood.

Vindictus is installed. Pangya is patching. Sword is the last thing I will download, seeing as its nightmarishly long.

Alright, my few blog followers, Internet ghosts and wanderers, that's all for this post.

And for the record--yes, I did just get all sentimental and make allusions of life to two computers. Because I can. Because I'm a writer. Because they have fueled my greatness, however small it is.

An Update

Well it's been awhile, lulz.

Fair bit has happened and not happened since March. Had my birthday, been increasingly annoyed about the future, stopped leveling my alt after I got Catherine and Viki. Dexy Nykra is now at vet on my main. :3 The game is a wee bit boring to me now, but I'll still pop on to stalk the market.

Last time this happened, I went on a hiatus and the very week I came back we patched. So...I smell a patch on the horizon.

Adventures In Noobland: Log 1

So.

It's been a wild ride up the ladder, and an equally wild ride down Nostalgia Lane.
My thoughts so far, are these:

1: HOLY FUCK BALLS IT'S SO EASY

No really. Pio gear takes such a load off things it ain't funny. I also like the brief storytelling they have when you first log in. Nice touch, nicely put together. All the free CS items and mechanics they introduce you to as well, is nifty. I do have a gripe with the wings activating. Like, it's fucking wasteful since you can't pause shit.

2: Vis is still kind of annoying to make

Especially when shinies tank. Good thing I just threw 10m over to my alt.

3: I can't tell if there are more new players

or if they're alts too, or what. But...don't care entirely.

Andre reminded me of his fantazzzzic purple text and dialog, and Nunez with his bad cooking. How does he get away with that shit? I mean there's Panfilo and Lisa....they need to have an intervention. I feel crazy for forgetting about that. Currently, I'm settling into Auch. That means running around doing errands for Gertmeister, silly Lorch(stupid. kids.), Simon, Eleanore, 'n stuff. Questwise, Eleanore wants me to get rid of more Lightning Gavi di Gavis(OH GEE DIDNT I JUST FUCKIN DO THAT FOR THE TROUBLED MERCHLADY?), Torsche wants Cathyparts, and Ulrich wants me to hunt a buncha shit all over the place for stupid Ararat.

I still hate Viki's quest.

I've had fun breezing through things, since Ferra so kindly vesped me(yes I mentioned this but, I can mention it again if I want). Still, it's a hard hit to go from Master and all that entails, to below vet. WHERE IS MY DAMAGE UGH.

On an entirely different note, I've had fun trying to figure out how this family would tie in with the house of Almontri. Of course, I'm never actually writing this stuff down, but its just something for my mind to chew on and humor with. or, TLDR: Lusse is lucky I managed to write that Viron stuff. :I

I Finally Gave In

Clark ze fighter, Phaedra the ele, Yuxoe the scout. Ferra vesped me up into the 60s and now I'm catching up on quests HOLY MOTHER OF PEARL, shit is so easy. All the wings and crap they're throwing at me, yeesh. I was also mistaken by someone for being Ritenberns.

....I don't know if that's a compliment or horrifying. It was because of the name similarities but come on people. Wry u so dumb.

So yeah. But I'ma take a break from alt leveling because it's exhausting and sort of boring, just a different type of boring since I haven't done the stuff in years. (I plum forgot about Tetra, for instance LOL)

I could level a plethora of vets, or grind experts. Or card farm, herpaderp. I do need to master Frequency but um, since my computer is having mysterious problems I'm wary of starting timed items on GE/leaving it on overnight/etc. Awesome, Oscar. Just awesome.

Getting vet promos for Lorch and Jonathan(CoimbraTroooooperrrr) would...be nice but the bastards on the Orpesian market think they can be all expensivepants. Bleeeeh.

Suffice to say, I WISH I COULD JUST PLAY MY PRECIOUS MASS EFFECT AND NOT WORRY ABOUT ANY OTHER SHIT.

That sums it up, along with the fact I had an epiphany while riding in the back of my brother's Subaru yesterday. It wasn't so much an epiphany as an obvious realization, kind of like "oh, yes the sky IS blue, fancy that."

Christmas in February, Progress, And Disgruntled Writers

Lately. I am only writing in here.

So, using up my 3-day medium explorer pack(the green thing) I mostly leveled Lisa in Bahamar AA. I like that place, I dun give a shit what other people say about it being pooey. :< Then I later got the so-called ingenius idea to try powerleveling Ange there, with Raven as backupguard.

So today, I was busy ingame and out and ACTUALLY GOT SHIT DONE INGAME AND OUT. How about that. I finished the Occulta Constellation Notes quest. I haven't been to occulta since getting my stances...so it was amazing to be there with fully maxed stances and masters and ET, rofl. The kobolds are kind of cute.

There, I rediscovered my love for Kharis. She knows how to fuck your shit up and be elegant while doing so. Gaaaaah. Now she's making me miss Stratus and Sekhmet so much. ;___; I decided to try her at circus...

And I tagged again :DD Now you might think tagging is not a big deal, but it is for me. I used to be such a nub and hardly raid so tagging, is important for now.

After circus, I went to turn in the music to Vince....and he said this and I was amused.

In celebration of me finally finishing his quest, he let me +6 a black dragon and vampiric edge. I now had two +6 BDs, and decided to go break them for crystals, and then make a Serpent Revolver. Sierra better be putting all the vis I'm giving her lately to good use.

19. Favorite speech/voices of stock characters? Uhhm. sGE's female fighter and male musketeer were epic from what I remember. Male wizard in both sGE and Sword2 sounds so cool. Same goes for the female scout. :>

21. What do you expect of stock characters in the future? I expect scouts to get an epic, trolling trap stance. I expect them to make more shitty costumes for the male ele. And more skimpy ones for all the ladies in general. And MAYBE, the male fighter will get to show off his abs?!

25. Favorite speech/voices of RNPCs/UPCs? Uhmm. Bernelli is pretty good in both sGE/Sword. :> I kinda like Sword's Caly voice too. Helena's sGE voice, DO WANT. Najib is also awesome. And uh, Leo in Korean sounds cool. But then so does Reckless. Korean voice overs, so far, seem so pro.

27. What was your most memorable recruitment quest? Hm. I don't know, I've had fun recruiting everyone from Lisa to Valeria. I know I fucking hate Ramiro and always will. Tiburan too. Fuck those kids. Send them to bootcamp.

30. What do you expect of RNPCs/UPCs in the future? I expect them to make Panf the Bamf and Karja some darn ice-rapier, fire-sabre expert stances of doom. And maybe more hybrids like that. And I expect more personal skills to finally come into being. MAYBE THE RESCUE KNIGHT WILL BECOME AMAZING?!?!?

44. What is the nicest equipment you acquired as a drop/in roulette? Are you lucky with drops? Nicest roulette was a qualified belt. A drop, well I got Aries from Chimera back when I was hunting it in prep for Darkness.
45. Do you enhance items? What is your highest enhancement failure and success? Yeah I enhance/upgrade shit. Who doesn't. I have never +7'd something, unless it's something I want to fucking break. Then it'll go to bloody +9.
46. Do you think certain enhancement NPCs have more chance to succeed than others? Which one? Uh, I dunno. I hate Soho already and rarely go to him. Usually go to Vince cause I save in Auch, but I love Idge. :3
47. Do you enchant items? What is the best stat you have gotten? LOL. BEST STAT I HAVE GOTTEN, the 2 DR on a 84e Striform years ago, and then *maybe* the 37 ATK/53 Golem Dragon crossbow I has. The enchant lady, as I say, is a troll first, enchanter second. She doesn't like me.
48. Do you craft your own equipments? Yeah, sometimes. Lately it's only 100es. Which then refuse to chip.

49. What is your experience with victory and defeat in PvP? I never pvp, unless it's to get screenshots of skills, or let some friend abuse, I mean test stuff on my team.
50. What MCC3 teams are often used in Team PvP? Xworld seems to be all about Cath T/Val/Wiz or other such combos, going by the whiners on the forums, lol.
51. Please talk about some common tactics. I don't have common tactics, I never pvp. D8

53. What is the most annoying MCC3 team in PvP? Jose. Oh my god, Jose is a troll that grins like one.
54. Your most impressive PvP memory? Getting murdered quite eagerly by Balbanies' elementalist's Abyss Flare.
55. Have you joined Colony War/Alliance War? Please talk freely about it. Back in the day, yes I went a few times when I was pre- and fresh-Vet. I remember trolling people with Treasure Golem/Hole of Darkness. 8D

57. What is your favorite pet? I love all the ones I have, actually. Panpan is so fuckin adorable it ain't funny. Sys/Sith is awesome toooo. I still have a place in my heart for the originals, Moppet and Poppet. And the Ginger Tiger=awesome.

71. What thoughts do you have about the Cash Shop/Item Mall? I think the system of the majority of CS stuff being tradeable is neat. There are pros and cons to the system of course, but I don't need to list them because other people banter on and on about it.
72. What about any of the gambling webgames related to GE? I think it's neat for the places that have them(i.e. kGE/jGE.) I think it's lame for places like sGE.(see IAH'd, point and case)
73. Let's be honest. How much do you think people spend in the above mentioned things? I think they spend a lot, but it varies from person to person. If someone wants to spend a couple thousand on this game over the years(or in a year or whatever), well fine. People spend a couple thousand on cruises or TVs or game consoles and their games, I mean...it's a hobby, it's entertainment. (Not mentioning the crazy people who have an obvious PROBLEM with the way they spend money on this game)
74. What are your fond memories of GE? Probably the fact it got me writing, and the fact it made me think about art more. I've met so many wonderful people from around the world, too, thanks to playing this thing. I will forever thank it for that.
75. And as well, your bitter memories? Bitter memories. Sure, I've had some, but they are fleeting compared to the gold and the mediocre memories.
76. Do you have any general thoughts, suggestions or ideas about GE? Plenty but I can't be arsed to think of them right now. Except....letting everyone wear hats. And pet costumes or something.
77. What do you think about your GE-versions next update?  I THINK I AM EXCITED FOR MORE NPCS AND UNLIMITED SHOTS.
78. Take care of yourself in and out of GE! Any words of advice about doing so? Keep some water around near your desk(unless you are clumsy, then use a sippy cup!) and drink it while you surf/game/whatever. Remember to rest your eyes and brain(obviously) and basically, keep a healthy relationship with your computer. :3 Ingame, well. Hur that's up to you. Be a bastard if you want, be a trickster or be a saint.
79. What do you think about the gameprovider and GMs of your GE-version? While G1 has had its issues, at bottom I do think they are a decent company. Raiden, Quinzel and Neume are awesome people. If I lived near their offices, I would deliver them cookies.(And then threaten to revoke said cookie privileges if they didn't deliver patches faster!)

To discuss REAL LIEFZ for a tad, I've been busy with FAFSA(more like FUUUUUUUUUUUFSA because of our dear Government. It is a model of incompetency.) and college stuff in general! I did visit the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design. HOLY FUCK THAT PLACE IS EPIC. I will possibly apply for their spring semester, since I really don't think I'll be able to cook up enough stuff by summer or whatever in time for the autumn semester.

I'm pretty O.K. with that since I want a fucking break. I mean I hate how everyone is like "GO TO COLLEGE BLARHBLAH" when I'm just getting done with something that has been eating my soul for almost as long as I've been alive.
